Login blogger.com Click On settings >> Select Search Preferences As shown below:
In order to set meta description you need for Blogspot you need yo perform this setting trust me i have used on Blogspot, it’s default setting is disabled which means you have to enable it to do so click on Edit Button to enable that you can write a description.
After clicking on the edit button, you will see two options: [Yes] and [No], Click on [Yes] Button and Write Maximum 150 characters about Description for Your blog.
