- Make sure you are using the latest version of WhatsApp.

- Tap on the “check” icon to confirm your edits.
How to edit WhatsApp messages on Android
Step 1: Locate the Message
To begin the process of editing a sent WhatsApp message on an Android device, open the WhatsApp application and navigate to the chat where the message was sent.
Step 2: Long Press and Select the Message
Long press the message you wish to edit. This will highlight the message and reveal additional options at the top of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the Edit Icon
Among the options displayed after long-pressing the message, look for the pencil icon or the “Edit” option. Tap on it to enter the editing mode.
Step 4: Make the Desired Changes
Once in the editing mode, you can make the necessary changes to the message. Correct any spelling mistakes, add missing information, or rephrase the text to convey your intended message accurately.
Step 5: Confirm the Edit
After making the required modifications, tap the send button (represented by a paper plane icon) to confirm the edit. The edited message will now replace the original message in the chat.
