Design and Display

The itel A60s features a plastic construction with a textured back panel, providing a tactile and secure grip. This phone is offered in three appealing colors: blue, black, and green. In my evaluation, I had the privilege of experiencing the green color variant, which boasts an aesthetically pleasing design.

The device adheres to a conventional button and port layout. On the right-hand side, you will find the power button and volume rockers, ensuring ease of access for primary controls. Positioned at the top is a standard 3.5mm audio jack, facilitating convenient audio connectivity. To the left, the phone incorporates a triple card tray, accommodating dual nano-SIM cards along with an SD card for expanded storage options. At the base of the device, there is a single microphone, a USB 2.0 port, and the loudspeaker.

This combination of design and layout presents a practical and visually appealing smartphone that caters to the needs of users seeking a well-balanced and functional mobile device.

Battery and Performance

The itel A60 is equipped with a 28nm chipset featuring four Cortex-A53 cores, clocked at 1.3GHz. It is complemented by 2GB of RAM and offers 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. Running on Android 12 Go Edition, a lightweight variant of the Android operating system optimized for lower-end devices, the configuration is tailored for basic tasks such as web browsing, messaging, social media usage, casual gaming, and video streaming, delivering a relatively smooth experience. However, it may encounter limitations when handling multiple applications or engaging in graphics-intensive gaming, manifesting in potential performance bottlenecks and longer loading times.

The phone’s robust 5,000mAh battery is capable of sustaining a full day of moderate usage on a single charge. It is worth noting that the device does not include a fast charger, necessitating a separate purchase for users seeking this feature. Consequently, with standard charging, it may require a comparatively longer duration to achieve a full recharge.

Camera and Audio

The itel A60 features a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of an 8MP primary sensor and a QVGA AI lens sensor. For selfies, there is a 5MP sensor on the front. Under favorable lighting conditions, both the primary and selfie cameras perform admirably, capturing photos with satisfactory detail and color accuracy. However, the camera’s performance declines notably in low-light environments, resulting in photos that are characterized by graininess, noise, and blurriness, with diminished color vibrancy. Despite these limitations, it’s essential to acknowledge that, within the context of its category, the camera’s performance remains acceptable, producing serviceable photos.

Regarding video capabilities, the itel A60 exhibits average performance, capable of recording videos at a maximum resolution of 720p at 30 frames per second.
