It’s no news that startups keep launching every day in Africa, here we are introducing chowdeck a food-delivery platform based in Lagos, Nigeria currently. Lagos, Nigeria is said to be the most populous city in Africa.
The startup got into the Y Combinator African startup summer 2022 batch, which was launched in October 2021 by Femi Aluko (ex-Paystack Principal Engineers), Olumide Ojo (ex-Paystack Principal Engineers), Lanre Yusuf (ex-Engineering Lead at Crown Interactive).
Chowdeck is an on-demand food delivery service and marketplace where people can purchase their favourite meals from a wide range of restaurants.

- Olumide is co-founder and CTO of Chowdeck.
- Lanre is the co-founder and COO of Chowdeck.
Customers may order food online in a few easy steps and have it delivered in under 30 minutes, whether it is local or from abroad.
Restaurants in Africa will soon be able to deliver food to consumers at any time or place thanks to Chowdeck.
We’ll assist the restaurants listed on our marketplace to expand as part of our special offer, and thus far, the majority of the restaurants we deal with can take pride in this accomplishment.
Over 60,000 meals have been served in six months in two major cities in Lagos with their assistance and the assistance of a driven crew of daring and tireless motorcyclists.
