Hello Comrades! In this article, I’ll be explaining how you can do MTN Night plan without having airtime at all on your MTN Sim Card. Clickbait? Well, I guess that’s what you would think. It shouldn’t be possible to do MTN Night plan if you don’t have at least 25 Naira airtime on your MTN Sim Card.
But, I have found a very easy way you can do up to 2GB MTN Night plan on your MTN Sim Card without having even One Naira worth of Airtime on your MTN Sim Card at all. This is not a tweak that will require you to get airtime from other platforms.
You also will not have to download any external applications to do this. All you will need to be able to buy MTN Night Plan on your MTN Sim Card without having any airtime will be to have a working MTN Sim Card that you use a lot and have performed a lot of transactions on. You’ll also need to be on the MTN Pulse Plan.
Being on the MTN Pulse tariff plan is the most essential factor that needs to be in place before you can do this. If you’re on other MTN Plans like the Beta talk tariff plan, you will not be able to buy MTN Night Plan without having airtime on your MTN Sim Card.
If you’re not on the MTN Pulse tariff Plan and you want to leave your current plan to the MTN Pulse tariff plan; follow the steps below:
- Go to your dialer and type *123#
- Tap on option 2, which says “Tariff Plans.”
- Now, tap on option 2 again, which says “Pulse.”
- Tap on option 1, which says “Migrate to MTN Pulse.”
- Complete the steps, and you should be shown a congratulatory message that you’re now on the MTN Pulse Tariff plan. This should not cost you anything at all.
Now, let’s check out the complete steps on how you can do MTN Night Plan without having airtime on your MTN Sim.
How To Do MTN Night Plan Without Having Airtime – The Steps!
For you to be able to do this as I said before, you must have been on the MTN Pulse plan for a while, and you must have bought a lot of airtime on your MTN Sim too. The reason for this is for you to have something called “Pulse Points.”
These Pulse points are rewards given by MTN when you purchase lots of airtime on your MTN Sim, buy lots of data, make long calls, and lots more…
These Pulse Points are equivalent to airtime, and if you have 1000 Pulse Points, then that will act as 1000 Naira on your MTN Sim card. And this is not only useful for buying MTN Night data, but you can also use these pulse points to buy normal data. I’ll be writing another article on how you can do this. Make sure you have our notifications ON so that you can know once the article is uploaded.
To do this:
- Go to your dialer and type *406#
- Select option 3, which says “Nightlife bundles.”
- Tap on option 1 or 2 to buy 25 Naira for 250MB of Night data or 50 Naira for 500MB of Night data
- Click on option 2, which says “Pulse Points only”
- Tap on option 1 to confirm your request and almost instantly, you should see that your Night plan has been activated without any of your airtime getting used.
If this does not work, then it means that you do not have enough Pulse points to purchase MTN Night data plan. To check how many pulse points you have, follow the steps below:
- Go to your dialer and type *406#
- Tap on option 7 that says Pulse Points
- Tap on option 4 to see how many pulse points you have.
If you do not have up to 25 Pulse Points, then you will not be able to purchase MTN Night plan without having airtime on your MTN Sim card.
