Twitter – Social Media Giant is finally bringing Podcasts to its platform. Twitter Podcasts will be launched to compete with Spotify and some other major podcasting platforms out there and from a personal point of view, Twitter might just have this figured out.
The Podcast feature will be incorporated alongside the Spaces tab on your Twitter application and it’s aimed at getting more users to stay on the Spaces section of the Twitter application. After the launch of Spaces was quite successful with a wide range of Twitter users adopting it for discussions and fun conversations, Twitter decided to take it a step further.
The Podcasts feature will allow users to create and listen to audio material from others outside of their immediate Twitter network. According to the Social Media Giant, this is a method of investing in audio content creators.
Users may now access customizable hubs that organize audio material into categories like news, games, and entertainment, similar to how the algorithm already works to recommend tweets to users.
The company has analyzed that, 45% of individuals who use Twitter in the United States also listen to lots of podcasts on a monthly basis, so the Company will automatically recommend engaging podcasts to help users quickly locate and listen to the topics they want to learn more about.
The Podcasts feature will first be available to a few individuals in English-speaking countries and then, it’ll expand to other Countries as well with new updates being rolled out on the Google PlayStore and Apple AppStore.
Now, we’ll be checking out how you can use the Twitter Podcasts feature whether you’re holding an iPhone or any Android device. The methods are relatively the same and there’s no difference between them. There are also no technicalities involved in using the feature too. Twitter has made it very easy for anyone to be able to access the feature once they are in the spaces tab.
